OUR MISSION
At Farms, Furbabies & Friend's Preschool, we aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our experienced and dedicated staff create a safe and welcoming space for children to explore, play, and develop the skills they need to succeed in life. With a focus on agriculture, animals and farming, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the needs of children from 3-5 years of age. Our program provides an interactive focus in both outdoor and indoor settings. We integrate social development and academic outcomes by utilizing our 10 acre, farm-based property at the Sunnybrook Farm Museum in Red Deer, Alberta.
At "Farm School", your child will learn and care for many types of farm animals. We learn about animal lifecycles and care for miniature donkeys, ponies, lambs, kids, calves, bunnies, and chicks. In the classroom, students will engage in age- appropriate academic activities, with a focus on real life application. The kiddos incubate hatching eggs, discover slough ecosystems, plant & harvest their own garden, dill carrots, make homemade butter, bake cookies and pies. They learn where their food comes from and how to the care for the animals that provide it. All kinds of activities to engage your “littles” imagination to help them reach their full potential.
